The Award.

We are excited to announce that The Duke of Edinburgh Award Canada has chosen Boogaloo Academy to serve as an Award Centre – the first dance studio in Canada to offer the Award!

The Duke of Edinburgh Award challenges young people to develop key life skills through physical activity, learning new skills, volunteering in their communities, and participating in outdoor adventures. It helps them build confidence, resilience, and a sense of accomplishment, all while having fun and making memories. This internationally recognized program offers teens the opportunity to discover their potential and stand out as they work towards a prestigious achievement recognized worldwide.

The Duke of Edinburgh Award aligns well with the mission of Boogaloo Academy, to nurture students to become well-rounded, successful individuals. It is an optional program, available to all students aged 14+. For more information about the Award, please reference the following links.
